Tudor Grange Academy Pupils Sharing Their Beliefs

On Friday February 3rd five Muslim pupils set off from TGA to George Fentham School in Hampton-in-Arden. The reason for the visit was to help the pupils from the Junior school to develop a greater understanding of their faith; the faith of Islam. The Junior school had been studying Islam all week and were well prepared with questions for the team. The day started with an assembly in front of the school where the pupils and myself gave a presentation on Ramadan and the experience of fasting.
After the assembly the pupils visited each class from each year of the school from reception to year 6. The junior school pupils asked some excellent questions which were answered with honesty and integrity by our pupils. The head teacher said how impressed she was with TG pupils and the way they had interacted with the pupils. The pupils said they had enjoyed the day and said they were all willing to do something like it again
I would like to congratulate the pupils for being excellent ambassadors, not only for the academy, but more importantly their faith.
The pupils were: Sibtain Hussain, Habeel Hussain, Okasha Khan, Nayab Mughal) , Ayman Ghory, and Leila Sheikh.
